The list of actors featured in music videos are many (and more or less good. Should I mention Adrian Grenier in Britney’s “You Drive Me Crazy”? lol!) Here are some of my favourite appearances..
Aerosmith – Crazy
Actors: Alicia Silverstone, Liv Tyler
Feel the 90’s! This was one of those sexy fun videos that was played on the music channels again and again (and it seems like it will forever..) and it’s how most of us got to know Liv Tyler’s lovely face. It’s like a little movie, and for the same reason I also liked Aerosmith’s Cryin’ (with Alicia and Stephen Dorff). Living on the edge with Edward Furlong also, but that’s mostly because I had a major cruch on Eddie and I really like the song. The video – even if it has an interesting story – is kinda’ messy and looks like two or three different videos mashed into one.
Ima Robot - Lovers in Captivity
Actor: Brady Corbet
When I first found this video I watched it again and again, totally mesmerised. It’s so fucking fantastic and the main reason I even started planning this post. The reason? It’s not because it’s about two guys or whatever. Noo, it’s because of the dance! Oh my gosh, it is so fitting to the song its ridiculous, and how can you not feel happy after you have seen this!?
N.E.R.D. - Provider
Actors: Brad Renfro, Kelli Garner (+Tony Hawk, Travis Barker)
I'm a huge N.E.R.D.-fan and with these actors this video is just made of win. Brad and Kelli worked together in Larry Clark's "Bully", which makes it extra great to see them together again, even if I love them both seperetly.
Sonic Youth – Sunday
Actors: Macaulay Culkin, Rachel Miner
This is a complete package of awesomeness. Sonic frickin' Youth, with one of my favourite songs, and my absolute favourite director Harmony Korine (with Gregg Araki). Hallelujah. Add to that a well known actor who - at the time – hadn’t voluntarily shown his face to the world in years, with his new wife (who later showed to be a fantastic actress herself). It’s all very fascinating, not to mention cute. And those lips!? Gosh!

I mostly just needed an excuse to post something by Gregg Araki. He direkted the video, and Bexton was in his movie 'Nowhere' so this video automaticly makes me happy ;)

Weeping Willows – Touch Me
When this song came out I became totally addicted to it. Soo frickin’ good. Anyway.. This video has a couple of well known swedish faces, including Michael Nyqvist, Sten Ljunggren, Simon Norrthon among others. The video itself kind of remind me of Radiohead’s Just (one of my absolute favourites ever) in the sense you have no idea what is said and you desperately want to know what makes everyone so upset.. !
Koop - I See A Different You
Let’s give some attention to a Skarsgård! No, not Stellan or Alexander, but Gustaf – the third one in line to conquer the world (lets hope!) I don’t know what to say about the video, hehe. I think it speaks for itself..? ;)
