Audio Bullys - Twist Me UpAudio Bullys are two british dudes who have been around for a couple of years making electronic music. They recently released their third album "Higher Than The Eiffel", which I've been listening to constantly this week. Awesome album! I had a hard time choosing a track though. The first single "Only Man" is probably my fave, but I didn't wanna go with another single so.. (Listen and see the video here!;) "Twist Me Up" this is another fave of mine. I'm diggin' the Madness-vibes ;)

Stromae - Alors On DanseHow about some french clubmusic? This track is currently #1 in the billboard European hot 100 tracks and okay, I don't really give a shit about lists but it should be number one, it is so damn good! I like the video too.

Crystal Castles - Doe Deer
First track I heard from the new album, which I've had on repeat since I got my desperate little hands on it (I could have picked anyone of the songs for this site really, they're all pretty much fantastic). Some call Crystal Castles' music a bunch of noice but those people just don't get it. Everything they do is frickin' brilliant!
M.I.A. - Born Free
This was directed by Romain Gavras, and it's the best music video I've seen in a looooong long time.
HURTS - Wonderful Life
As a major lover of 80's music the Manchester-duo Hurts makes me cream myself. Especially this track, it's bloody fantastic and I can't stop listening to it. DOOM POP FTW! There are a couple of singels out there to find but don't go looking for an album, their debut won't be released until August! Painful, I know!
Fool's Gold - Surprise Hotel
NylonTV used this song in one of their ModelCitizen-videos on YouTube. It made me happy and it turned out you could get it for free on iTunes, yay! If you don't feel like dancing - or at least moving - to this you're made of stone!
Greg Laswell - Comes And Goes (In Waves)
This is one of those songs that pops up in my ipod and makes me ask myself where the hell I got it from and why I haven't appreciated until now. (There were actually two of those in just a couple of days. The other one was 'No Time To Sleep' with Tina Dico but it is a bad rip so I decided not to post it :P) Nice song. Probably from some tv-show soundtrack.
Ladyhawke - My DeliriumBam Margera couldnt stop playing this track on his radioshow for weeks. I question his taste in music sometimes (I don't really share it, at least) but the chorus in this song is awesome. Made me get album - by Phillipa "Pip" Brown (a.k.a. Ladyhawke) - and guess what? The album is pretty awesome too. Makes me want more from her.

I try to avoid Lil Wayne. I don't have anything against the guy exactly, but his voice is so fuckin' annoying I'm afraid it will start driving me crazy eventually and I won't be able to listen to the tracks I actually do like. Like this one.

Tokyo Police Club - Be Good (RAC Remix)
An addiction for weeks! It was used to present the CO-OP Barneys New York Fall '09 Premium Denim collection in this video. At first I watched the video cuz it features models Cole and Ash, and then a trillion times more cuz of the music, before I finally managed to find the track, hehe.
Pogo - UPularThis guy is a frickin' genius. He takes small soundbites from a film and makes music of it, in this case the Disney Pixar film 'Up' (You can watch the video here). His most poplar track is 'Alice' (Disney's 'Alice in Wonderland') but it looks like he had to take the video down from the Tube :P You can still download the mp3 from his site though, along with a bunch of other creations.

Imogen Heap - Aha! (Instrumental version)When I heard the instrumental versions of the songs from Imogen's album 'Ellipse' I found most of them kinda pointless, but this one took me by surprise. I really like the song-version but this instrumental version takes me to a whole different place (Some odd Tim Burton-town? hehe) and I like it there.
Miike Snow - AnimalLast week I was gonna post Sky Ferreira's cover of this song, which I'd been listening to a whole lot. Problem was I couldn't find it as an mp3 (or any other form of file). I still haven't so I decided to just post the awsome original, even though I'm sure you've already heard it by now. I was addicted to this one too when it came out (more so than Sky's version). The original is better, but Sky makes her version of the song into her own. I love em' both.
The Homophones - Everyone's Dead
This one is from the Otto; Or, Up with with Dead People soundtrack. I've used it as my wakeup-alarm for moths and months, which I thought would make me hate it after a while but I actually still think it's nothing but super-cute.

I am looking forward to Spike Jonze's Where the Wild things Are but I didn't have very high expectations on the soundtrack, after hearing a few snippets beforehand. It wasn't at all bad, and I like Yeah Yeah Yeahs' Karen O, but I wasn't sure. Planned to listen through the album, keep what I like and throw out the rest. So, while at work, I started listening and suddenly got goosebumps all over my arms. I found myself upfilled with something. All this uplipting beautiful music. Damn, those snippets didn't make the album any justice at all! And so I listened through it again, and a couple of more times the days after that. 'Worried Shoes' is my favourite track, but I choose this one cuz it best represents this amazing soundtrack.
Indochine - Punishment ParkWhile searching for a Punishment Park- trailer on YouTube (no luck) I found the video for this song. Fell pretty hard. Indochine is a French new wave/rock band and they've been around since the 80's so I feel a bit lame for not knowing about them until now. This track is from the album Le Baiser, released in 1990.

Viking Skull - Hidden FlamePretty random pick (To be honest I've been listening to MightyBoosh-songs for most part of the week.) but I chose it because only the half of this song worked on my iPod before(?) and so I recently got myself a new file, hehe. It's from the 2006 album Chapter Two and I think it's a bloody great song.
David Palmer - Only YouThis is from the soundtrack to The Informers (which I actually - at least partially - liked. I might be the only one though..) and I fell in love with this song (and the beautiful sexy scene it was used in.) The perfect bittersweet 80's feel. Can't help but love it (as soon as I've gotten through the pretty cheesy beginning that is;) and I've listened to it every day this week.
