More info Audio Bullys - Twist Me Up
Audio Bullys are two british dudes who have been around for a couple of years making electronic music. They recently released their third album "Higher Than The Eiffel", which I've been listening to constantly this week. Awesome album! I had a hard time choosing a track though. The first single "Only Man" is probably my fave, but I didn't wanna go with another single so.. (Listen and see the video here!;) "Twist Me Up" this is another fave of mine. I'm diggin' the Madness-vibes ;)

Jonathan Johansson - Aldrig Ensam
I don't like to update the site with singles, but yeah, here is another one. Beautiful song.

More info Stromae - Alors On Danse
How about some french clubmusic? This track is currently #1 in the billboard European hot 100 tracks and okay, I don't really give a shit about lists but it should be number one, it is so damn good! I like the video too.

Devendra Banhart - Foolin'
This kinky little video was directed by Isaiah Seret. The music makes it all so .. cute! ;)

Crystal Castles - Doe Deer
More info First track I heard from the new album, which I've had on repeat since I got my desperate little hands on it (I could have picked anyone of the songs for this site really, they're all pretty much fantastic). Some call Crystal Castles' music a bunch of noice but those people just don't get it. Everything they do is frickin' brilliant!

M.I.A. - Born Free
This was directed by Romain Gavras, and it's the best music video I've seen in a looooong long time.

HURTS - Wonderful Life
More info As a major lover of 80's music the Manchester-duo Hurts makes me cream myself. Especially this track, it's bloody fantastic and I can't stop listening to it. DOOM POP FTW! There are a couple of singels out there to find but don't go looking for an album, their debut won't be released until August! Painful, I know!

Fool's Gold - Surprise Hotel
More info NylonTV used this song in one of their ModelCitizen-videos on YouTube. It made me happy and it turned out you could get it for free on iTunes, yay! If you don't feel like dancing - or at least moving - to this you're made of stone!

Greg Laswell - Comes And Goes (In Waves)
This is one of those songs that pops up in my ipod and makes me ask myself where the hell I got it from and why I haven't appreciated until now. (There were actually two of those in just a couple of days. The other one was 'No Time To Sleep' with Tina Dico but it is a bad rip so I decided not to post it :P) Nice song. Probably from some tv-show soundtrack.

More info Ladyhawke - My Delirium
Bam Margera couldnt stop playing this track on his radioshow for weeks. I question his taste in music sometimes (I don't really share it, at least) but the chorus in this song is awesome. Made me get album - by Phillipa "Pip" Brown (a.k.a. Ladyhawke) - and guess what? The album is pretty awesome too. Makes me want more from her.

OK Go - This Too Shall Pass
OK Go with yet another brilliant video.

Lil Wayne ft. Eminem - Drop The World
I try to avoid Lil Wayne. I don't have anything against the guy exactly, but his voice is so fuckin' annoying I'm afraid it will start driving me crazy eventually and I won't be able to listen to the tracks I actually do like. Like this one.

More info Amanda Palmer - Oasis
Shame on me for never picking up Amanda Palmer's soloalbum "Who Killed Amanda Palmer" before now, it's awsome! This song? Aww, so cute... Eh, wait.. What?? lol

Björn & Benny - Kära Gamla Sol
The sun was shining, the snow was glistening and suddenly this old tack popped up on my ipod. It was part of an ABBA discography I added a while ago, but I'd actually never heard this track before. Felt extremely fitting for the moment.

More info France de Griessen - I Want to Be You
This is used in the trailer for Bruce LaBruce's upcoming zombie-flick. Had to buy it because of the angry chorus, hehe. KimGordon/CourtneyLove vibes?

Blonde Redhead - Spring And By Summer Fall
I thought I had everything with Blonde Redhead, but I had completely missed most tracks from their album "23" (2007). I therefore lived years not knowing I still hadn't heard the best song they've ever done. Well, better late than never! (thankyou random behind-the-scenes fashionshow-video)

Tokyo Police Club - Be Good (RAC Remix)
More info An addiction for weeks! It was used to present the CO-OP Barneys New York Fall '09 Premium Denim collection in this video. At first I watched the video cuz it features models Cole and Ash, and then a trillion times more cuz of the music, before I finally managed to find the track, hehe.

More info Pogo - UPular
This guy is a frickin' genius. He takes small soundbites from a film and makes music of it, in this case the Disney Pixar film 'Up' (You can watch the video here). His most poplar track is 'Alice' (Disney's 'Alice in Wonderland') but it looks like he had to take the video down from the Tube :P You can still download the mp3 from his site though, along with a bunch of other creations.

MSTRKRFT ft John Legend - Heartbreaker
Direkted by Vincent Haycock. The track was the first single from the album "Fist of God" (March 2009). I guess it slipped me by cuz I hadn't seen it until now :)

More info Imogen Heap - Aha! (Instrumental version)
When I heard the instrumental versions of the songs from Imogen's album 'Ellipse' I found most of them kinda pointless, but this one took me by surprise. I really like the song-version but this instrumental version takes me to a whole different place (Some odd Tim Burton-town? hehe) and I like it there.

More info Miike Snow - Animal
Last week I was gonna post Sky Ferreira's cover of this song, which I'd been listening to a whole lot. Problem was I couldn't find it as an mp3 (or any other form of file). I still haven't so I decided to just post the awsome original, even though I'm sure you've already heard it by now. I was addicted to this one too when it came out (more so than Sky's version). The original is better, but Sky makes her version of the song into her own. I love em' both.

The Homophones - Everyone's Dead
This one is from the Otto; Or, Up with with Dead People soundtrack. I've used it as my wakeup-alarm for moths and months, which I thought would make me hate it after a while but I actually still think it's nothing but super-cute.

Karen O and the Kids - Worried Shoes
Fuck it. I want you to hear this one too.

Karen O and the Kids - All is Love
I am looking forward to Spike Jonze's Where the Wild things Are but I didn't have very high expectations on the soundtrack, after hearing a few snippets beforehand. It wasn't at all bad, and I like Yeah Yeah Yeahs' Karen O, but I wasn't sure. Planned to listen through the album, keep what I like and throw out the rest. So, while at work, I started listening and suddenly got goosebumps all over my arms. I found myself upfilled with something. All this uplipting beautiful music. Damn, those snippets didn't make the album any justice at all! And so I listened through it again, and a couple of more times the days after that. 'Worried Shoes' is my favourite track, but I choose this one cuz it best represents this amazing soundtrack.

More info Indochine - Punishment Park
While searching for a Punishment Park- trailer on YouTube (no luck) I found the video for this song. Fell pretty hard. Indochine is a French new wave/rock band and they've been around since the 80's so I feel a bit lame for not knowing about them until now. This track is from the album Le Baiser, released in 1990.

Emil Jensen - Benen är läkta
A beautiful little song. Makes me a bit sad, but in a nice way.. ?

W e e k    3 7

More info Viking Skull - Hidden Flame
Pretty random pick (To be honest I've been listening to MightyBoosh-songs for most part of the week.) but I chose it because only the half of this song worked on my iPod before(?) and so I recently got myself a new file, hehe. It's from the 2006 album Chapter Two and I think it's a bloody great song.

More info David Palmer - Only You
This is from the soundtrack to The Informers (which I actually - at least partially - liked. I might be the only one though..) and I fell in love with this song (and the beautiful sexy scene it was used in.) The perfect bittersweet 80's feel. Can't help but love it (as soon as I've gotten through the pretty cheesy beginning that is;) and I've listened to it every day this week.

Mint Royale - Blue Song
As soon as I learned there was a box with the complete Mighty Boosh series I emediately ordered it and watched it. Twice (and counting.) This was one of the extras (Boosh's Noel and Julian are in the video). This made me wanna dance get my hands on everything by Mint Royale. They're kinda like a mix of Fatboy Slim and Moby. Fantastic.

More info Movits! - Vals på Vinkelgränd
The first time I heard Movits! was when they were musical guests on The Colbert Report. Pretty funny considering they are from my own country and even sings/raps in swedish! This is by far my favourite track from the album.
