April 27, 2009 - There is so much I need/want to update the site with, but since I got my new computer - or my new screen - I can’t stomach the look of many of my sites, including this one (It was fine to see them look like this on other peoples computers, but I can‘t really live with it myself all the time.) My point is; I need to make another layout before there will be any updates and jeez, it’s hard to come up with something good for this site! I’m also having some trouble with the scanner…
The sidekick is away so there haven’t been any more shoots for the Killer Project, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been taking pictures. I love my camera so much it’s redicilous and I recently ordered a camera tripod, which hopefully will be here in the end of the week. Having some problems with finding victims people willing to model though.. Luckily Per and Viktor are always there for me.
March 29, 2009 - Fixed two more shoots the weeks before Matilda headed back to Stockholm, and it worked out great again. Unfortunately I can’t post any pictures from them without revealing how the final pictures looks like (and we don’t wanna do that, do we.) Took in some extra help again, on both shoots. A big thanks to our models Per and grandma! And even though she wasn’t a model this time we owe Frida a major frickin’ thanks for the things she fixed for us! We’ll surely mention you all in the book ;)
I’ve gotten a lot of drawing-work lately. Two album-covers and three children (plus two more coming). Yikes!
March 7, 2009 - Today we had the photoshoot with Frida. She was a bit nervous, but she did fine and we ended up with a whole bunch of nice pictures (“Nice” isn’t exactly a fitting word for the type of pictures we were taking, but whatever, lol) Found one I want for the book, but many that looked really good overall. Might end up on deviantart some day.. The best thing with the whole shoot (except the great models of course;) was the lightning, which – as always – was a total fluke. No need for PaintShop-adjustments there!
For some reason everything seems to go our way in this project. Costumes, weather, lightning, you name it. Jeez, I’m nervous for that wall we eventually might run into!
March 6, 2009 - Before the planned photoshoot with Frida tomorrow Matilda and I managed to get another one in last week. It was another success (as far as we are concerned) but it involved a clown! Clowns are frickin’ creepy. (That is why I love them). Even if it’s just Matilda hiding under that white face it is still pretty much frickin’ creepy. Seriously!
We were very lucky with weather and timing. Most of the snow had melted just one or two days before, and we were finished right before the sun was low enough to start screwing us over with unwanted shadows and stuff. It was a little bit chilly, but it beats many of the sunny sweaty shoots we’ve had before. She sky looked fabulous as a background!
By the way, Matilda had to drive us to and from the location with the makeup on! lol. We were a bit nervous to get into an accident or something like that, but we got away with some funny looks... ;)

On another note; Shqipe (or Nore on her behalf) gave me two days to make a birthday-present for a friend of hers (Portrait of the friends kids.). I made it, as I usually do. Deadlines are good..
February 16, 2009 - We officially started the “Killer Project” a few days ago, with our first photoshoot. Matilda was the model and I took the photos with my wonderful new camera. There were some wardrobe/makeup fuckups and the original ideas we had planned didn’t work out at all, but we came up with new ones that in the end worked even better.
We will definitely have trouble deciding on which one of the favourites will end up in the book, and that’s a luxury-problem! None of these though…
Wanted some new blood on our next one so we’ve asked Frida to step in as a model (with Matilda). It will hopefully be a really fun experience for all of us!
February 7, 2009 - If you’re wondering what’s going on with the painting I can inform you that I haven’t given up on it or anything. ‘X Files’ spoiled the flow I had going on, and now it’s just really hard to make time for it. Finally uploaded the last 2 photos though..
I’ve also made a page for Just Dom Där (the photobook). Every single page from it is up there so if you haven’t seen it yet.. what are you waiting for!?
And with that; The vink/sidekick-duo are at it again! After much talk and a few fantastic ideas (unfortunately way to complicated for us to execute) we have finally decided - and started – on our next project, which we call our ‘killer project’. This time it’s not exclusively about photos, but they have a big big part in it of course. We’re both superexcited! But I’m not going reveal more for now.. ;)
I’d been thinking about getting myself some fancy system camera, and my own little camera gave me the perfect excuse to do so the other week when it decided to get all fucked up on me. Just ordered a Sony DSLR-A200. Can’t wait to get my hands on it!
December 31, 2008 - Added a couple of photos of the painting I’m working on here. They are a few days old though. I’ll have newer ones up soon, but not until next year ;)
December 26, 2008 - You know the secret “really exciting stuff” I couldn’t talk a couple of weeks ago? Well, Christmas is over and I can explain myself! The reason I was so excited was because I’d just received our photobook in the mail, but since we planned to give it to Frida as a Christmas gift – and she checks up on this site quite frequently – I didn’t want to mention the fact the book was actually finished! And it is pretty neat if I can say so myself!
I’m planning to give the book its own little section on the site, but since we gave away the only existing copy I can’t upload pictures of it until I’ve got my own. Won’t take too long. In the meantime you can see some of the photos from the book (plus rejects that never made it) on my DeviantArt-page. I’m not finished uploading over there, but some of em’ are up.
December 21, 2008 - The 5-times portraits are finished! Took bloody forever, that’s what you get for telling me “there’s no hurry”, hehe. I like the first and the last one. The three in between..? Not so much. But they are finished, that’s the main thing. Please let the next job be a pet or something!
I’ve been sick this week, but after four days of puking, sweating, spinning and whatnot I got a sudden urge to do creative stuff(?) Not only did I finish the last two of the drawings I mentioned, but I also started a new painting. It’s a small one (on one of the small canvases I bought with Frida in April!) but it has been a while, and it’s nice if I can finish it before I’m all drained out from work again. I’ll have pictures up soon, hopefully.
Planning a new project with the sidekick. A pretty big one, and it will take a shitload of hard work to prepare, but it’s a pretty fucking neat idea so it might be worth it!
December 8, 2008 - Added new portraits of the 5-times kid. Two to go..
Really exciting stuff is going on but I can’t speak about them! Yet. There is a risk it’ll drive me crazy to keep quiet, but in a few weeks I can tell you all about it and everything will be fine again ;)
November 23, 2008 - First of 5 is up on the request-page.
November 18, 2008 - Within 10 minutes I got six new drawing-jobs last week (Five of the portraits are of the same kid!) I’ll try to get them finished before Monday, and the first one (not the 5-times kid) is already uploaded on the site. It was a tiny tricky photo to work with and not much to go after, but it turned out well and I’m actually really happy with it.
We did our two final shoots (for real this time) for the photobook this weekend (Turned out great!) so now there's only a few details to fix before we’re ready to make our project into a real little creation. I’m psyched!
In other news; May be a potential painting job coming up, but I’m kinda doubtful for the moment.
November 9, 2008 - Just finished the latest request. It's up. And yet another person at my job seems interested in buying a portrait from me. Looks like I'll go through them all.. lol
November 2, 2008 - That family-portrait I was gonna do? Well, turned out to be four! Not with the whole family in all of them (thank gawd) but it was hard enough. The pictures weren’t the best, with red eyes and thick dark shadows. I said I’d do my best, more worried about the deadline than anything else because I only had two days to finish! Fine if it was over a weekend, but I had to do it after work, tired as fuck. Not ideal. Only managed to finish three, and I won’t even upload the third one cuz it sucks (Looks okay if you know what I had to work with, but in itself it looks like crap, in my opinion) Anyway, the costumer seemed satisfied, and today I got a new one (More kids, what a surprise.. I’ll have to wait to draw one of them though, since he or she isn’t born yet! lol) I’ve also been asked if maybe I can do portraits for Christmas. We’ll se what happens there..
What else? Well, I have a new painting planned. If I’m actually laid off in two weeks (I have my doubts, but who knows..) I’ll start it up then. If not I need to take some fucking time off soon because I’m starting to go a bit loony here..
October 15, 2008 - Word about me doing portraits is spreading in the workplace, apparently. But I had pretty much nothing to do with it. I haven’t even been drawing in months! So, uploaded two new portraits I was asked to do. They are hopefully gonna be used for tattoos later on (I’ll try to get photos of them if I can). I’m also making a family-portrait or something (for someone else), as soon as I get pictures. It’s gonna be a birthday-present (for his wife, who also works there so it’s all very hush-hush;)
October 4, 2008 - Painted a little fat cat on Matilda's computer-bag a couple of weeks ago. You'll find it in the textile-section.
We’ve decided to put a little more money into the photo-book so we can get what we really want. Hopefully it will even look pretty professional when it’s finished. I’m working on the hard details right now, but it sucks to do it by myself. Really looking forward to having the sidekick back again in a month or so!
August 25, 2008 - A few days ago I thought we (me, the sidekick and our project) were pretty much screwed because of the limited time we had (Matilda’s moving) and the fact that summer (or at least the summer-ish backgrounds) doesn’t last forever (Who knew?), but we forced the last two most important photoshoots into our "busy schedules" and low and behold; We’re done!!!
Well, with the shooting that is. The project (the book) is planned to be finished in time for Christmas. (Seemed like a logic date since the other half of our duo is around again by then, hopefully.) In other words: Even if we have the photos we need you won’t see them for quite a while.
"Behind the scenes" from this weekend..
I’m happy with what we’ve done. Yeah, we lost some piccies on the way, made some ridiculous shoots that won’t see the light of day, and there are a few more good ones we could have done if we had the time (extended edition maybe?) but as soon as I’m finished with fixing the pictures we have chosen I think there will be a fine little collection, and soon enough an entertaining book. I’ll keep you updated..
August 16, 2008 - Added two drawings from the book.
I’ve been having some ideas for a new photo-project floting around in my head. Not totally sure about the direction I’ll take yet, but I have invested in some fake blood and a bruise-wheel, so maybe you can imagine the type of pictures it will be. Anyway, tonight I made my first attempt ever at creating a bruise and this is how it turned out (click on the picture):
Obviously far from perfect, but considering it was my first try I think it turned out pretty okay. My guess is it will be easier applying it at somebody else (which will be the case for the photoshoots) It’s fricking hard to get it to work in all angles!
August 8, 2008 - A co-worker of mine asked me to do a portrait of his daughter so tadaa. (Would have scanned one or two new drawings from the book too if I wasn't too lazy to drag myself up the stairs to get it.) Ever since I got my little book and started drawing like a maniac I have become better than I've been in a loong time, so if you were planning on asking me to do something you should do it now. Seriously. In a month or so it might be to late ;)
In other news; The photos from last weeks shoot (the one where we almost risked our lifes in the heat) are no more. A virus ate them, sorta. It was totally my fault for not putting them in a safe place. And yeah, for opening up shit I shouldn't! They're gone. The only memory left from that shoot is the pic below. Sucks!!
July 27, 2008 - Two new photoshoots today. Didn’t take half as many photos as we usually do on the first one because it was taking place outside and we just couldn’t take the heat. We were sweating like pigs! At one point Matilda turned completely pale and almost fainted. Craziness. Think we got what we needed though..
July 26, 2008 - Added two drawings.
July 12, 2008 - I'm dragging my book around with me all the time but I actually don't have anything to put pencils and stuff in, so the other day I bought a dumb-but-cute pencil case on ebay. I'm looking forward to getting it because I am addicted to getting mail need it.
I know, me getting a frickin' pencil case isn't really news or anything, but I thought it would be more interesting to read than 'made another drawing'. Worth to mention about the new picture though is that it is the first animal in the book. I don't draw animals very often, but I'm satisfied with the result.
July 10, 2008 - A little MMA love (with new 3B pencils!) Made a drawing of two random fighters last weekend, and today I made a portrait of the new champ ;)
July 4, 2008 - Added another portrait I did during breaks at work . It definitely makes the time go faster. The downside with drawing there though is that some people are curious and want to see what I’m doing. They can look all they want, I don’t mind that part, but I get terrible embarrassed when they comment on it. I don’t know what to say. How many times can one say “thanks” without sounding like a broken record? Ugh.
July 2, 2008 - Another Wire-portrait.
June 29, 2008 - My fingers are cramping after I’ve been sitting with the same frickin’ picture for two hours. Worth it though, I quite like how it turned out. By the way, it may seem like I’m really into Shia or something since this is my second drawing of him in the book, but truth is I didn’t even remember about the first one until I’d already started the second, lol. Not that it matters.
June 28, 2008 - Can't put my book away (I don't scan all of the drawings by the way). Newest one is a Marlo Stanfield-portrait. (Wire-love!)
I really need some new B3 pencils though. They're pretty much the only kind I use and mine are all starting to get really small. Problem is there's no place to buy new ones around here, and I don't have any plans to get to any kind of city anytime soon. Ugh!
June 25, 2008 - Added a new drawing.
June 17, 2008 - Pages 13 and 14 are filled.
June 16, 2008 - Yup, another drawing. By the way, if you have any good ideas (or lame, I’m okay with that) of what I should draw in the little black book you are more than welcome to suggest them to me. I’m open for anything right now! ;)
June 15, 2008 - One more drawing. It's so much fun!
June 14, 2008 - Another drawing. One page at the time..
June 8, 2008 - Two more drawings. One made on a lunchbreak and the other in the middle of the night.
June 1, 2008 - Made two drawings in the little black book.
Promised you a little somethin’ somethin’ from yesterdays photoshoot so here are a couple of outtakes. We’re made up as two very specific clowns (and idols), Folke and Agamemnon. They rock.
The weather was great so it sucks to complain, but gawd damn it was hot! The extra make-up we brought with us actually melted, lol. All in all it was a good shoot, we got what we needed. There are details I wish we’d known before though, there would have been many more usable photos.
I've also added a t-shirt (nothing interesting really) to the textile-section.
May 23, 2008 - For some reason I always end up spending money on stuff I didn’t know I desperately needed when I’m staying at Fridas’ for our game-weekends. This time I bought myself a beautiful simple - but expensive - black book which I fell in love with. I call it ‘the bible’ because it reminds me of one (but without all the crap in the middle. You know, words.) Just a couple of hundreds of white pages. And what do you know, suddenly I’m drawing again, something I haven’t been interested in doing in ages. Feels good to do something since I don’t have time/strength for painting while I’m working daytime. Added three of the portraits I’ve done so far. Hopefully there will be more.. ;)
Me and the sidekick have a couple of hilarious photoshoots coming up. Our ideas are getting better and better and unlike in the beginning we’re getting into all of them wholeheartedly now. But it’s tricky to find the time for shooting. Always something else going on. Hopefully we can squeeze one in next week and I’m really looking forward getting ready for it because there are a lot of preparation and I think we’ll laugh our asses off. Check back in a week or so, maybe I’ll have a teaser up or something like that!
PS. Frida, uppdatera mig om hur det gick med grejerna! :D
April 20, 2008 - We had one of our two big photoshoots yesterday, which we’ve been preparing for in what feels like ages. To our surprise the pictures turned out great, way better than we expected so we’re all proud and shit over ourselves, lol. I can’t help but give you a sample ..
What else? Looks like I’m working another week no new paintings yet. My fingers are itching..
April 7, 2008 - Took a number of years, but I’ve finally got myself a little corner on DeviantArt. (Christian Bale seems to be a wee bit popular:) Don’t know if I’ll ever add the older stuff because I’m lazy, and I only joined because I was tired of not being able to see the x-rated art anyway..
Got myself two new canvases in a cosy little shop my cousin found, so I was eager to start on a new portraits, but it looks like I’ll have to do real-life work this week instead. Bleh. Oh well..
March 24, 2008 - Finally got around to writing something about the portrait of Jay.
March 23, 2008 - As you can see the site has a new layout. Wanted more space, so I came up with one really quickly. Think I can live with it for a while. Not much else happening around here, but I just bough a big canvas so I’ll probably have updates on a new paintings pretty soon.
March 13, 2008 - Nothing new really, but decided to give you an update anyway, while I’m taking a break from Paint Shop. I’m editing photos for mine and the sidekick’s photo-project, which we’ve been working very hard on the last two days, doing several shoots (about seven setups). I don’t know when our next shoot is gonna be. Maybe next week. There are two upcoming shoots we’re really excited about, but we can’t do them until we have all we need, and on one of them that includes spring and sunny weather!
I finished editing the last photo in one of many small parts of the project today, and it turned out really good. That felt great because we were starting to feel a bit nervous, afraid all we had was a bunch of halfassed pictures. Now it’s actually turning into something pretty cool, so we’re both happy/relived.
I’m still not gonna go into what the project (still nameless) is about (If you ask me I’ll probably spill though, it’s not like it’s a secret ;). We have decided to present it all in a photobook in the end, and hopefully it’ll turn out as good as I hope it will. (The book is probably getting a section on the site too, so you’ll see the pictures even if you don’t know us.) We'll see when the time comes..
By the way, going through 80+ pictures of myself I couldn’t help noticing I have a similar shape on my face/chin as Paul Dano. Love him, but I don’t know what to think about that.. ;)
February 18, 2008 - I finished the painting yesterday, way faster than expected and now I'm restless as hell. I will probably jump at another one as soon as I find something inspiring.
February 16, 2008 - Added three new pictures of jay. I guess this one will be finished pretty soon.. :S
February 14, 2008 - The first photos of the painting I’m working on are up, and I’ll update with new ones as soon as I can. The guy in the picture is - or will be - Jay Adams, one of the original Z-Boys (If you have no idea what I’m talking about; Shame on you! Get a copy of Dogtown and Z-Boys) For the moment my bb looks more like some creepy dogboy, but I actually kinda like him like that. (I also like scary clowns, so..)
February 12, 2008 - Even if I don’t have anything to add here yet I felt like I needed to make an update so nobody will think the site is dead or something. Creativity-wise this new year had a slow start, but my head is starting to wake up. So, what’s going on in there?
Well, I just began working on a new painting (today actually). My last try failed miserably (I lost interest halfway through, like I do sometimes) and I didn’t want to jump on anything new for a while, but lately my fingers have been itching and I found a picture I really want to do. We’ll see how that turns out. Maybe I’ll have a photo of it up in a couple of days.
Other than that I’m planning a really cool photo project with the Sidekick. Don’t want to go into details, but we’ll have our first two shoots in the next couple of weeks and I’m really excited. We haven’t talked about how we’re going to present it all in the end, but you’ll probably be able to see it one way or another. If we’re satisfied with how our first day turns out I might show you a sample of what we’re doing ;)
That’s pretty much it. Check back soon for more updates :)
December 29, 2007 - Updated 'Textile' with a shirt.
November 23, 2007 - Made a cover for a short story. You'll find it in the 'covers' section.
November 8, 2007 - I’ve made a couple of step-by-step videos with the photos I took while doing some of my paintings (Yeah, maybe I do have a little too much time to waste). Basically just a blend of the photos you can find on this page already (and more of them), but I also added the original pictures in the beginning so you can see what the paintings are really supposed to look like (*gulp*). You'll find links on the bottom of these pages: Mos Def, Pete, Bale and Arvid.
October 28, 2007 - Arvid is finished. Next!! lol
October 16, 2007 - Made the page for the painting I'm working on now.
October 6, 2007 - The Bale-painting is finished.
October 4, 2007 - I was asked to make a portrait of a kid for somebody’s birthday, and got a bunch of photos to choose from today. Now I'm trying to figure out some kind of pricelist for my work, tired of shrugging my shoulders and looking like a squirming questionmark when people ask. With set prices for different sizes I don't have to think about it. Hallelujah.
I'm adding photos of the Bale-painting every day now, take a look if you're interested.
September 24, 2007 - Added three photos of the Tito-painting. Unfortunately I’m kinda stuck and don’t know if I’m ever gonna finish it or not. In the meantime I’m working on another painting. It's for the Sidekick. She wanted one with Christian Bale.
September 6, 2007 - Updated drawings with portraits of a kid and a dog I was asked to do ages ago. I suck at working without deadlines!
August 24, 2007 - Updated drawings/requests/gone with a portrait.
August 16, 2007 - New painting. Things are going quite smoothly so far. I've only worked on it for two days and the hardest parts - eye and mouth - are already done (or at least there.) so maybe I will be able to finish it quickly. Afraid the fence I decided to put in the background is gonna take some time though. Not that I'm in a hurry...
While I was looking for a good sized version of the pic I really wanted to do (This one. No luck.) I made this painting. It's not finished yet, there's about a billion branches left to do, but I'm saving them for a rainy day.
July 31, 2007 - Wow, I finally got around to making a page for the last painting. Only took two months..
June 2, 2007 - A lot is going on at the moment. The gallery opens for the public tomorrow, so there was a press-showing the other day (Three journalists. One of them didn’t even bother to talk to any of us, or hardly stay til’ we came. But at least he showed up. One paper didn’t come even if one of their own photographers was showing! She seemed really upset. What a bunch of a-holes.). There was an article in the local paper this morning, mainly with me, picture and all. Gah, hate stuff like that! But not as bad as I feared, though, lol. Anyway, I’m gonna make a page with photos and stuff from the showing, and a page for the new - and finished - painting. But that’s later, I’m way too lazy right now. I just wanted to let you all know whats going on.. ;)
May 20, 2007 - I’m having a good relationship with the painting today (after a couple bad days) and decided to add a photo of how it looks right now. Not finished yet obviously. Biggest details that need to be done are hoodie, left hand and hair. The guy in the picture? Hm, yeah, that one needs to be explained and I’m gonna do that at a later time ;)
May 15, 2007 - Time is running out and my head is spinning. For the exhibition I want another big portrait (to keep Mos Def company, none of the other paintings are good enough in my opinion) so I’ve put the painting I was working on to the side for now (I knew I wasn’t gonna show it no matter how much I might like it when it’s finished).
Been working on the new painting for a week now and it’s not too far from finished. (The last parts are often the slowest though, background and clothes or whatever is hardly as exciting as eyes and mouth etc.) I have photographed every stage, but decided not to show pictures of it here until it’s finished (or at least nearly..)
I think it will be good enough, even if it’s not as lifelike as Mos, but I’m very confused. Up close I love it to death, but from a far - and definitely in the wrong light - it looks horribly wrong sometimes. I’m nervous of how it will look in the barn (Yes, the art exhibition is actually in a barn!) I’m scared maybe I’ll have to leave it out just because the lightening is wrong, how fun would that be.. !?
April 3, 2007 - After talking to the guy who runs the exhibition I had an anxiety attack. I’ve managed to suppress my feeling about the whole thing so I’m okay for now, though. Happy about the space I got. ”My wall” turned out to be three walls, which is great. It’s like I'll have my own little room.
March 29, 2007 - I’m going to see my exhibition wall on Sunday to get some idea of how much space I’m gonna have. Still no idea of what I’m gonna show though (except Mos Def.) but I have about two months to decide so.. The drawings are the big problem Probably gonna let others say their favourites and decide after that. It's hard to decide for yourself because you get kinda blind to them..
Still working hard on the new painting. The eyes are a living frickin' nightmare!
March 10, 2007 - The new painting I’m working on. I started with Takashi Tsukamoto’s face (No bells? He was in Battle Royale, if that helps.) and there’s gonna be another guy, Oguri Shun (Don’t remember seeing him in anything so no good examples there...) No problems this far but I bet they’ll come..
March 2, 2007 - I have no patience whatsoever when it comes to my paintings. Had to stop working on Zooey because my favourite pencil (can’t live without my no.8!) has had enough of my abuse and unfortunately it took forever for me to get a new one (I actually went to town just to get one, but forgot about it and came home empty handed so I had to wait longer than I had to. I’m a retard.. Or at least easily distracted.) Now I’m so over the portrait and it will never be finished.
I’ll add two more photos of it later though, if somebody is interested. Maybe I’ll start a new section for the paintings that never were? There’s been a lot..
Anyway, it’s my birthday tomorrow and my parents just gave me three new bigass canvases so I’ll be at it again very soon. Gonna paint them black first because with Zooey I noticed I can’t stand working on white backgrounds anymore. Glad I realised that before starting a BIG painting!
My grandma’s birthday today. She wants my Brokeback Mountain painting, apparently. Normally I would give it to her, but of all the painting my mom have spread across the house it’s the only one she’s actually paid me for so it's out of my hands and grandma can just forget about it. And it’s just as good, it wouldn’t be fair to my other grandma, who got some lame standard birthday present a month ago. My grandmas are totally BFF’s these days, so she would hear about it too :)
January 31, 2007 - I have already started on a new painting. A portrait of Zooey Deschanel, another actor from “Hitchhikers Guide”, hehe. Her eyes are just so frickin’ beautiful, I needed to know if I can make them justice. Probably won’t take very long time to finish, it’s a pretty small canvas. I already miss painting on black background though…
January 19, 2007 - Finished the painting the other day :D
January 4, 2007 - I’m not gonna write anything here everytime I’m adding a new picture of the painting because it’s pretty much daily and I’m too lazy. If you care you’ll have to go to the page and take a look for yourself ;)
January 3, 2007 - The painting so far.
December 27, 2006 - Started up on a new painting yesterday and finally I can say; “Yes! it is the big black canvas!” (I had a great idea for a painting at one time. Bought a huge canvas and painted it black, but when I was finish with the black background the idea felt old and I moved on. It has been standing untouched in my room since March and everybody is always asking about it.)
Started painting today and finished an ear (My favourite body part to make, next to hands.) and a dark grey background. (I’ll add photos of the progress later.) I’ve never worked on a black background before so it’s kind of scary. Especially since the canvas is so big. The face was very tricky to draw because it’s hard to see the lines from all angles, and truth is I have no idea if everything’s in the right place. Hopefully it will be a portrait of Mos Def when it’s finished but I’m preparing for it to turns out to be someone completely different :P
December 23, 2006 - Per wanted a drawing from me for Christmas. I made one with him as a woldrider and I hope he can se himself in it, otherwise it’s kind of pointless, lol.
December 6, 2006 - Wow, I’m updating! Nothing more than a drawing of footballer Tomáš Rosický, but at least it's something. By the way, looks like I'll show some of my stuff in an art exhibition this summer. Interesting.
September 22, 2006 - Okay, the painting is finally finished. A very bad photo is up, and I'll add more pictures and details about it in a day or two.
July 24, 2006 - I’m working on a painting of Donnie and Mark Wahlberg, believe it or not. Not because it’s them, but I found a picture and needed to make a painting of it. Doubt it will end up on a wall though, I can’t really imagine someone begging for a painting with two guys kissing (even if they are brothers..) Anyway, right now it looks like this.
July 4, 2006 - Finished the Hellboy/Minnra-picture. The drawing was too big for the scanner so I had to use the camera instead. Hopefully I’ll see Minnra Malin later today or tomorrow so I can give it to her :)
