BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN

This is a portrait of Jack and Ennis (Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger) from the movie "Brokeback Mountain", which I hadn't seen at the time.
I worked on the painting from 5-12 january. It took nine days to finish. Couldn't keep my mind of it at the time, and even took pictures when I added someting so I could look at it when I sat by the computer (So many faults that needed to be found..) Still many details I don't like, but there always will be so I'll have try to just accept the painting like it is.
If I have to say what I'm most satisfied with it has to be the black hat, and the part that can be seen of Ennis' shirt. The parts that buggs me the most is the white hat, and I had no idea what to do with the background so I - like I always handle my problems - pretty much ignored it..
