Hiya! Welcome to my little online gallery where you can find paintings, drawings and other stuff I've done. Feel free to look around. It's interesting to know who's been here so it's nice if you take a moment to leave a comment, just to say hi or something. Yeah.. - vink

October 23, 2011 - Yeah, I've been quiet for a while. Too lazy to make updates here, but not too lazy to paint. You can find two "new" portraits if you click on 'paintings'. Right now I'm working on another portrait for a co-worker. Will hopefully be finished pretty soon.

In other news; Matilda and I are planning the final stages of our killer-project. Deadline for the basics are the end of the year so hopefully that's something I can share with you pretty soon :)

January 19, 2011 - I'm alive! Just letting you know, in case you were wondering. And for the first time since 2008 I've actually managed to finish something I've painted! Portrait this way.

August 24, 2010 - I added two portrait's from a few weeks ago on the request-page earlier, but I've spent most of the day infront of my moms sewing machine, making a Boosh-bag for Matilda. (I only made the logo, not the whole bag from scratch! hehe). The original idea was to paint the logo, but i knew that would take forever (sooo many layers for it to look good!) so I decided to sew the monkey-head instead, which I've never done before. It's fun to test new things.

Anyway, nine hours of work later...

Just sent a photo to Matilda and she drowned me in compliments and seems very happy with her new bag. My work is done! :)

Here's a tip though: If your friend puts hours into doing something just for you don't let the nice words of encouragement from you be "Wow, you're quick". Matilda did this to me in a sms after about 5 hours, most of them infront of that frickin' sewing machine with an aching back. I could't decide if my response should be 'cunt' or 'idiot', but I knew she meant well so I put my phone aside instead, until I had something else to say. A few hours later she did catch on how much time I was putting on that thing so it's all good. She's still my BFF, lol.

May 11, 2010 - Added a portrait I did a few weeks ago, for Anna and Johan. That started another wave of requests and I have four portraits to do now. Not all of them are babies though, thank gawd!

April 4, 2010 - Happy Easter! Didn't really celebrate it this year but I'm enjoying the long weekend. Matilda and I had a shoot planned and it all went down great, with sun and perfectly windy weather (Lucky as always;)

Here's a photo of the model in her awsome costume (pornstasch!) carrying a bloody pole. Frickin' beautiful, lol.

February 25, 2010 - Made another portrait for Shqipe.

February 13, 2010 - Still working on the painting. I've remade the damn left eye a number of times now, but I just can't get it to work, ugh. Still like it though. Anyway, came here to inform you that I've uploaded a couple of winter-photos.

January 5, 2010 - Started that portrait I mentioned yesterday and gawd, I'm crushing so bad right now! Totally in love with it and can't wait to continue. (For the moment I'm doing everything in my power to stay away from it though, afraid I'll fuck it up cuz I'm tired and to eager to finish.) The fact that I won't be home tomorrow - and predict I'll be too tired after late evening wednesday/day of work thursday - is cause for anxiety. Especially since the other eye is next!

January 4, 2010 - During the holidays we had two photoshoots planned for the 'killer project'. Unfortunally Matilda got sick which fucked up our plans, but we managed to squeese in a quick one. Turned out great (scary shit! lol) but I can't show any samples. Sorry :P

In other news? Everything is ready for me to start on Frida's painting. I've got canvas, motif, lots of paint, new pencils, and the thought of getting into a portrait is very exciting. Yet, I've been avoiding the whole thing like the plague. Thing is I haven't painted in a while and getting into an important bigass painting like this one is absolutly terrifying! I don't even know where to start.

So, I've decided to ease into it. To first make a portrait on a small canvas I had lying around (Nature-coloured. No background necessary;) Hopefully the experience will be quick and painless and I'll find confidence to move on to the big scary thing upstairs.

Got some bad news today though (or my sister did). I'll have to start taking the buss to work (if I'm not sacked too that is, for two months or so. Truthfully that would be pretty great..) That shit kills me. Takes so much energy out of me it's not even funny. Fingers crossed for many sick co-workers the upcoming weeks ;)

November 23, 2009 - It took years for Frida to pick motif, and after that a couple of months before we had a canvas, but now I can finally start on her painting. Okay, I'm not jumping on it, I realised I want some new brushes and probably some new paint (since the painting is gonna be huge! 70x100cm / 27.6"x39.4") Guess I know what I'm gonna be doing on my holiday :)

By the way, I guess I never mentioned some mini-updates made a while back. One more for the book and a portrait of Leo & Matilda in the photo-section. I think that's all.

October 1, 2009 - Oh the freedom. The last request-baby really kept me from drawing, I had NO idea how much until now! (It's FUN again, woopee) Well, the last couple of days at work I've been drawing on a new portrait in the book. And it's a double-page! Cuz Julian Barratt and Noel Fielding shouldn't have anything less.

September 27, 2009 - This week I finally finished a portrait I promised to do in february. (As I've mentioned before I need deadlines! Don't tell me to take my time, people, especially when you want me to do one of those small bald people. They are boring.) I din't even bother to scan that one. It wasn't bad or anything, but the portrait was from the same picture as this one and the first one was probably better..

Anyway, with the baby out of the way I felt like drawing again so I made a portrait of Natalie Dormer in the book.

I guess I never mentioned the quick photoshoot we did for the Killer Project a few weeks ago. Took two days becuase of the unpredictable rain-showers but other than that it all went fine. The shoot is mostly just a safe filler in my mind, and I think I've already have an idea of how we could have made it better, so maybe it'll never see the light of day. But still, so far so good.

August 1, 2009 - Updated the photo-section with a couple of pictures from april, may and july. Some of them have been up on DeviantArt for a while, but a couple are new.. By the way, if you visit my DA-page you'll find outtakes from the killer project. Most of them have been posted here, but the ones on DA are edited and "prettier".

July 10, 2009 - Added a new photo of the the Paranoid Park painting. About time I finish that one.. ;)

June 20, 2009 - Matilda and I took some time off from work so we could shoot some pictures for the killer project. I'm pleased with what we got, especially considering the circumstances. For the first night we wished for a beautiful sunset but got cloudy skies instead. That problem quickly felt rather small when we were attacked by gnat- and mosquito-swarms. Fucking gruesome, but we survived with a few decent pics.

The second day was messy too, but on purpose, since we were both dreanched in our home-made and perfect-looking syrup-blood! (I wish we'd used more of it..) Matilda - the russian prostitute - had to play dead on a forrest path and we feared the syrup would bring the ants around, but they were not interested. Puh!

We had our share of other problems on that one though. It's hard to be the make-up artist, a blood-soaked model and the photographer at the same time, especially when the sun's too frickin' bright to see the results of the pictures in the camera! But again; We got a couple of photos to work with and the project is still going strong :)

June 20, 2009 - Yesterday I celebrated Midsummer with the relatives and other outcasts, as usual. (If you think that sound boring you're unfortunate to have been born in a family with boring relatives and I feel sorry for you.) I brough the camera - just in case - and got loads of pictures of my cousins baby Rebecka and drunk people. A few of them are up in the photo-section.

Mainly those I took with Matilda and Per during our little stroll at the beach. Unfortunately we were still lingering when the rain started poring, but the pictures we took down there were worth being dreanched the rest of the night cuz the sky looked sic!

Sic like in awsome that is!

May 31, 2009 - Siss helped me with my scanner-problem so I could finally add a drawing I made in the book a while ago. By the way, I should probably mention that I'm not making any notes on this page about updates in the blog. I've made quite a few updates since I started it so if you missed them you should take a look.

Time goes by so quickly it drives me completely fucking crazy. I have all these ideas and projects planned but when will I have time to do them!? For fuck sake..!

May 3, 2009 - New layout, as you can see (featuring an illustration by Chris Jennings), and with that a few changes. There are two new main-site categories; a blog and a new photosection, both updated with stuff. More updates to come..

My scanner is still not working (and while trying to fix it I managed to fuck up the writer too, go me..) so I can’t add my latest black-book drawing. I suck.
